Fox411's very own Dr. Oscar, Tariq Khan, topped the list of major media Oscar experts on GoldDerby.com for his spot-on predictions for the 84th Annual Academy Awards Sunday.

Dr. Oscar tied for first place with Deadline.com’s Pete Hammond for most accurate predictions for who would take home the gold. Out of the 31 major media outlets whose experts made predictions, Fox411 was the only site whose expert correctly predicted the nine major categories.

According to GoldDerby.com, many of the experts were in agreement as to who would win Best Supporting Actress and Best Picture. But Dr. Oscar was just one of five who correctly predicted that Meryl Streep would win the Best Actress award for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady.”

While critics said she would not win due to her two previous wins, Dr. Oscar argued that it had been almost thirty years since her last win, and that Streep had suffered through 14 losses.

Of Davis’ role in “The Help,” Khan said, “Davis is a brilliant actress and was the heart of the film, providing a very skillful yet restrained performance. But it was essentially a supporting role, lacking the type of broad character arc illustrated by Streep in “The Iron Lady.”
