One question that has been on some inquiring minds since Lindsay Lohan debuted her Playboy pictorial: What does her father, the recently incarcerated Michael Lohan, think?
It turns out Lohan’s estranged dad gives the nude spread a thumbs up.
“It’s a move in a direction where she’s working,” the elder Lohan told Dr. Drew Pinsky on an episode of “Lifechangers” set to air on Dec. 28, as reported by the New York Daily News. “If she’s happy with it, I’m happy with it.”
Thankfully, Poppa Lohan hasn’t actually inspected the magazine.
“I haven’t seen it and I never look at it, any of it,” he explained as a large, nude image of Lohan filled a screen. “There she is. Do I have to close my eyes?”
“I heard it’s classy,” Daddy Lohan allowed of the Marilyn Monroe-inspired shoot. “She did some movies that were a little risqué at times and I couldn’t even go to the movies and watch it. I wanted to, but I couldn’t.”
Lohan insists that his relationship with his troubled 25-year-old daughter is “getting a lot better.”
“She’s on a great path,” he noted. “I’ve been in touch with her.”
