NCIS star Michael Weatherly has signed a new contract to continue his role on the show, a CBS rep says.

CBS said Weatherly, who plays Special Agent Tony DiNozzo on the hit CBS procedural, signed a multi-year deal, though other specifics were not disclosed. The contract renewal was first reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Weatherly's contract renewal follows those of Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll and David McCallum. Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo already had deals in place for Season 8, and Sean Murray is still in negotiations.
