Chinese authorities say 10 workers have been killed after a retaining wall under construction suddenly collapsed in the eastern province of Shandong.
The city of Lanling said on its official website on Sunday that six people were killed on the spot and four others died in the hospital.
It says police are investigating the collapse that took place Saturday on the ground of a local transportation company.
Work safety incidents are common in China, where regulations and procedures are routinely ignored.
