Taylor Mitchell

Folk musician Taylor Mitchell died from injuries the 19-year-old sustained during an attack by two coyotes while hiking alone at Cape Breton Highlands National Park in Canada.

    Tragic Death

    Published reports say another hiker heard folk singer Taylor Mitchell scream for help and called emergency services. Police reportedly arrived and shot one of the coyotes.

    Coyote Attack

    One of the coyotes believed to have bitten Taylor Mitchell, a Toronto native, was later killed by park officials and its body was sent for testing.
