The Polish government spokesman says the prime minister will announce changes in her Cabinet following its weekly session on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Beata Szydlo said Friday she would make personnel and structural changes this week, because some ministers were not meeting her expectations and things were not going as well as they should.
The conservative Law and Justice party won power last year on promises it would reform and improve the life of poorer Poles and produce a transparent rule. Still, some of the government's steps have put it at odds with European Union leaders.
Szydlo has found praise for only two ministers lately. She has indicated she will also make changes in the boards of managers of state-owned companies.
