The Polish Foreign Ministry says it has stripped a Russian journalist of his right to work in Poland.
The ministry gave no reason for the decision, but Polish media suggested that journalist Leonid Sviridov, who works for the Rossiya Segodnya news agency, could be suspected of spying.
He was reportedly denied the right to work in the Czech Republic a few years ago on allegations of espionage.
The announcement that Sviridov was stripped Friday of his accreditation as a foreign journalist comes less than two weeks after Poland detained two people for allegedly spying for Russia, one of whom was a top Polish army official.
