- Emily Hedin is the director of Building Dignity. Emily travelled to Peru shortly after her graduation in 2007 from Macalester College to organize human rights workshops as an Upper Midwest Human Rights Fellow. She returned to Lima in 2008, after spending time in Senegal as a Fulbright Scholar. Together with local leaders, she co-founded Building Dignity, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide community education, empower local leaders, and support neighborhood-led development in marginalized areas.read morejkcf.orgShare
