A rescue official says navy divers will help search for two people missing when a helicopter flying from an offshore oil rig crashed into a lagoon in Nigeria's commercial capital of Lagos.
Officials say they have recovered four bodies from the scene of Wednesday's crashed U.S.-made Sikorsky S-76C+ belonging to the Houston, Texas-based Bristow Group.
Bristow says it has set up a hotline for relatives and friends while it works to identify victims. There was no immediate news on the nationalities of those involved. Bristow charters helicopters to oil and gas companies.
Spokesman Ibrahim Farinloye of the National Emergency Management Agency said Thursday that Nigerian Navy divers were expected to join in recovery efforts.
He says six people injured in the crash are responding to treatment in the hospitals.
