Police in northeastern China say they have caught a suspected murderer who has been on the run for 25 years.
An online statement from Shuangyashan city police says the man, identified only by his surname, Guo, allegedly killed six members of a family in 1991 "over a trivial matter." The murders took place in Heilongjiang province's Raohe county.
The statement says Guo was detained on May 8 in the western region of Xinjiang, along with his wife, Wang. She was detained on suspicion of shielding a criminal.
