Doctors remove polyp from Israeli PM Netanyahu after routine gastro procedure

Benjamin Netanyahu's office says doctors have removed a polyp from the Israeli prime minister's large intestine.

The polyp was discovered Wednesday during what Netanyahu's office was a "routine gastro examination." Netanyahu's office refused to provide any more details. In some cases, polyps can become cancerous.

The exam was part of Netanyahu's annual physical. In a statement, Netanyahu's office quoted his doctor as saying the Israeli leader is "completely healthy."
