Chinese state media say 11 miners are missing after a coal mine flooded in northern China.
The official Xinhua News Agency says the accident happened Monday morning in Tongchuan city in Shaanxi province.
It says 67 workers were in the mine shaft but most managed to escape.
China's mines had long been the world's deadliest, but safety improvements have reduced the number of deaths in recent years.
