Canada's military has charged four members of the British Navy with sexual assault.
The Canadian Forces National Investigation Service said Friday the men were charged for their role in a "group sexual assault" in barracks in Shearwater, Nova Scotia on Thursday.
Prosecutor Scott Morrison said the British sailors were in Nova Scotia playing in a hockey tournament with Canadian Armed Forces. They were identified as Craig Stoner, Darren Smalley, Joshua Finbow and Simon Radford.
The sailors are being held and are due to return to court Monday.
