Bolivians will soon be able to get around their capital by cable car.
President Evo Morales signed a $234 million contract Monday with the Austro-Swiss company Doppelmayr-Seibahnen to build the cable car system. It's supposed to carry 30 million passengers a year on cables between the mountainous capital of La Paz and the suburb of Los Altos.
Officials say the system should be finished shortly before the December 2014 national elections.
