An Austrian general says that a military commission has been set up to investigate allegations that servicemen took turns raping a foster home teenager decades ago.
The move comes after a former resident at the state-run home in Tyrol province said she was raped by two soldiers 44 years ago and three others defecated on her.
The woman, identified only as Hanni P. told the daily Kurier that she was 16 at the time and that she and four other girls were picked out for the soldiers by a female orderly.
Gen. Herbert Bauer said Monday the commission is publicizing a telephone number where other possible victims can come forward.
Others at the home say they were forced to do laundry and other work for commercial companies for no pay.
