A hemp shop in the nation's capital is reopening after three years now that possession of small amounts of marijuana is legal in the District of Columbia.
The Washington Post (http://wapo.st/1N9QWzu) reports that The Capitol Hemp shop is having its grand reopening Wednesday.
In 2012, Capitol Hemp agreed to close the shop after it was raided by police and six people were arrested for violating drug paraphernalia laws.
Since selling marijuana is against the law, Capitol Hemp cannot offer any actual marijuana products. However, customers and employees can explicitly talk about marijuana and how to use products that are sold in the store.
