Walmart says it will stop selling a University of Maryland T-shirt that features the outline of the state of Massachusetts.
The company apologized for the error in a statement Monday and said it will remove the shirt from its stores.

The shirt features the logo of the Maryland Terrapins, the university's athletic team, printed over a red outline of the state of Massachusetts.
Last week, Wal-Mart responded to complaints about the shirt via Twitter, writing that the two states are shaped similarly with the exception of Maryland's dip on the right-hand side. The company later apologized via Twitter, saying they were embarrassed by the mistake.
