Virginia police search for horse slasher
HERNDON, Va. – Fairfax Police say they are looking for whoever is responsible for slashing three horses.
The horses, which are used in a non-profit therapeutic riding program, required medical attention, but the cuts do not appear to be life-threatening.
The horses were slashed sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon.
Police said a donor has paid for the initial veterinary bills for the three horses, but the Spirit Equestrian program is accepting donations for further care.
