U.S. stocks indexes are opening slightly lower as a rebound in the price of oil cools off.
Energy stocks were among the early decliners Wednesday as the price of oil fell nearly 5 percent. Health care stocks also fell.
The Dow Jones industrial average was off eight points, or less than 0.1 percent, to 17,664 as of 9:35 a.m. Eastern time.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index fell seven points, or 0.3 percent, to 2,042. The Nasdaq composite fell 23 points, or 0.5 percent, to 4,705.
Disney soared 6 percent after reporting a surge in earnings at its media networks and parks businesses.
Bond prices fell. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose to 1.82 percent.
