Police say a truck spilled smelly chicken parts all over an Alabama street, closing the road for hours as workers tried to clean the mess and contain the stench.
WHNT-TV (http://bit.ly/1e7ObU7 ) reports that county emergency officials say the truck driver hit his brakes to avoid a wreck Thursday in Albertville but ended up spilling the chicken parts at an intersection.
The parts are byproducts from a chicken processing plant. Crews sprayed deodorizer and poured sand on the mess, and then put it into the truck to haul it away.
The road has since reopened.
