A Texas woman who says a sheriff's deputy punched her while she was pregnant wants the man charged with assault.
Deanna Robinson says she was 38 weeks pregnant on March 4 when she was arrested at her parents' home in Quinlan during a child abuse investigation. Home surveillance video appears to show Robinson pressed stomach-first against a counter, then a deputy striking her back.
She screams, "I'm pregnant!"
Hunt County Sheriff's Department planned a Wednesday news conference.
Robinson was arrested on charges of assault on a public servant, resisting arrest and interfering with child custody. She spent nearly a week in jail.
Her son was born March 15 and is with her parents. Three stepchildren and another son are with Child Protective Services.
Quinlan is 40 miles northeast of Dallas.
