A Texas couple thinks its neighborhood is less a treat and a bit more tricky this Halloween.
Meghan and Chris Palmer reportedly received a "courtesy notice" from its Homeowners Association (HOA) asking them to remove a Halloween sign from their front yard.
The Palmer house is decorated with Halloween lights synchronized with music, and the lawn sign lets spectators know which radio station plays the soundtrack, MyFoxHouston.com reports.
The HOA says that under deed restrictions, only real estate signs are permitted on the lawns.
An HOA representative told MyFoxHouston that the Palmers' concerns could have been cleared up if they'd just called in.
The Palmers say they will leave the sign up for another week and take it down with the rest of their decorations after Halloween, MyFoxHouston.com reports.
