Authorities in West Tennessee are searching by helicopter and on the ground for a missing mother of four after her vehicle was found abandoned with a flat tire.

Karen Johnson Swift, a 44-year-old Dyersburg woman, was reported missing on Sunday by her husband. Her car was found on a road, but her cell phone has not been found.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box told The State Gazette that a Tennessee Highway Patrol helicopter equipped with a heat-sensor performed an aerial search on Tuesday morning. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is also forensic processing Swift's car.

Box said the investigation is still being treated as a missing person case and there have not been any signs of foul play at this time
