LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man has pleaded not guilty to shooting a Hollywood woman whose husband and daughter were slain more than a year before her death.
Alberd Tersargyan entered the plea Monday to a charge of murder committed while lying in wait.
Tersargyan is accused of killing 38-year-old Karine Hakobyan, whose body was found March 26 in her car inside a carport at her apartment complex. He remains jailed without bail.
Police are investigating whether Tersargyan is connected to the deaths of Hakobyan's husband and 8-year-old daughter, who were shot in 2008.
All three deaths were discovered by another daughter, who was 12 when her father and sister were killed.
