Closing arguments in the trial of a Pennsylvania man charged with strangling a pharmacist and the pharmacist's girlfriend in 2002 have been postponed because of nasty winter weather.
A prosecutor and Hugo Selenski's defense attorney were scheduled to deliver closing arguments Monday, but freezing rain and snow in the forecast forced a postponement until Tuesday.
Prosecutors allege Selenski and a co-conspirator tortured Michael Kerkowski as part of a robbery, then killed him and his girlfriend, Tammy Fassett.
Authorities found their bodies buried behind Selenski's house north of Wilkes-Barre along with at least three other sets of human remains.
Selenski faces the death penalty if convicted. He's pleaded not guilty.
