A sinkhole swallowed up half a house in Florida's Pasco County on Wednesday, leaving a widow homeless.
The Pasco Fire Rescue remained at the scene on Shoal Drive in the Beacon Point neighborhood a few hours after the ground gave way at 3 p.m., MyFox Tampa Bay reports.
The back half of the house, which is the portion the 40-feet wide by 20-feet deep sinkhole took down, is now roped off.
MyFox Tampa Bay says a widow who lives in the house was not there when the incident occurred.
