One Indianapolis home bears dents and drywall cracks from the weekend's deadly explosion, but the lingering emotional damage is greater.
Barry Chipman and his family went back into their home Thursday. His 16-year-old daughter told The Associated Press that she's afraid of another explosion.
Chipman said he and his neighbors "want to know what the hell happened."
Two people were killed in Saturday's blast, which leveled two homes and left many others battered and charred.
Fire Capt. Rita Burris says investigators hope to wrap up their on-scene work by the end of the week, but aren't putting a timeline on determining what caused it.
Investigators say they believe the explosion was caused by natural gas, and are focusing on gas appliances in the homes at the center of the blast.
