Police in Ohio say skeletal remains found in a box last week are those of a toddler who's been missing since June.
DNA test results released Tuesday confirm that the remains discovered in a Toledo garage are of 19-month-old Elaina Steinfurth. She was last seen about three months ago inside a house on the same property.
The home and the garage belong to the family of a man who had been dating the girl's mother.
Police say had searched the property several times, but won't say what led them to the garage last week.
The girl's mother and her boyfriend are both in jail after being accused of obstructing justice during the investigation. No charges have been filed since the remains were discovered.
