Police say they've made an arrest in connection with an arson at a New York City convent.
A nun was injured when she jumped from a second-floor window to escape the fire early Saturday on Staten Island.
Police say 19-year-old Vincent Calder was arrested Thursday on charges that include arson as a hate crime and burglary.
The name of his attorney was not immediately known.
The convent is on the grounds of St. Joseph Hill Academy, a 14-acre Catholic school for kindergarten through 12th grade.
