NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- A March trial has been scheduled for a 57-year-old North Platte man who plays Santa Claus during the holidays.
North Platte television station KNOP says Daniel Davis pleaded not guilty on Monday to eight counts of possession of child pornography.
Investigators found a Santa suit at Davis' home. They say still and video pornographic images were found on Davis' computer.
The trial is set for March 15. Each of the child-porn counts carries a maximum of five years in prison.
