Authorities have turned to experienced spelunkers to scour a southern Indiana forest for a caving enthusiast who hasn't been seen for nearly two weeks.
State conservation Officer Jim Hash says that after several of large-scale searches of Harrison-Crawford State Forest for signs of 25-year-old Kevin Eve, they've lined up small teams of spelunkers to look for hidden cave access points and recheck previously searched caves.
The Georgetown man was last seen Oct. 1 and his car was found at the forest near the Ohio River town of Leavenworth.
Hash tells The Courier-Journal of Louisville that authorities still believe Eve is in the area and have been going back over sites around where his car was found.
