Police say they've found the body of a 63-year-old train maintenance worker who disappeared from Salt Lake City amid a manhunt for a father and son accused in a bizarre kidnapping.
Authorities said Wednesday that Kay Porter Ricks was found dead in western Wyoming's Lincoln County, which borders the area where the suspects were camping before their weekend arrest.
Police are investigating how he died and whether Flint and Dereck Harrison were involved.
Ricks disappeared a few miles from where police believe the Harrisons were hiding out after tying up a woman and her four teenage daughters in a Utah basement. The women escaped.
The Harrisons eventually got to Wyoming. Ricks family spokesman Richard Massey says the body was spotted by a deputy who had been searching for the truck Ricks was driving when he disappeared.
