The man accused of killing a Georgia couple who tried buying a Ford Mustang through Craigslist has been denied bail.

Ronnie Adrian "Jay" Towns was ordered held without bond by a judge Friday.

He's been charged with malice murder and armed robbery in the death of Elrey "Bud" and June Runion. The couple drove from their Marietta home north of Atlanta to South Georgia in January seeking to buy a 1966 Ford Mustang.

A potential seller responded to an ad that Elrey Runion placed on Craigslist. Friends and family members said the couple drove to the rural town of McCrae to complete the sale. After a search, investigators found their bodies there. Both had been shot in the head.
