Los Angeles police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who ran off and left his family behind after allegedly causing a crash that injured seven people, including two small children, in Hollywood.
Fire Department spokeswoman Katherine Stewart says that the injured include a 1-month-old boy, a 2-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and three adults.
Officials say the suspect seen running from the scene late Saturday is the driver believed to have caused the two-car crash. Police Sgt. C Barlow says the suspect left three members of his family in the car. Barlow says the family members were interviewed by investigators.
Nobody in the suspect's car was hurt.
