A newly-opened White Castle restaurant on the Las Vegas strip was forced to close for more than two hours after its grand opening to restock.
White Castle opened at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Casino Royale in between The Venetian and Harrah's Casino on the strip. Hungry customers crowded the line waiting up to two hours to get a taste.
However, the 24-hour restaurant was slammed with customers upon opening and tweeted at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon that it was closing for maintenance and restock. It re-opened at 3:15 p.m., the Las Vegas Sun reported.
The new White Castle is the first in Las Vegas. The next closest fast-food joint is more than 1,500 miles in Cape Giradeau, Missouri.
