NEWPORT, Ky. – A northern Kentucky county has snuffed out a smoking ban put in place two months ago before it could stop a single cigarette from being lit.
The Campbell County Fiscal Court voted 3-1 on Wednesday to end the countywide ban that would have prohibited smoking inside bars, restaurants and other businesses that welcome the public, the Kentucky Enquirer reported.
The move reversed a vote in December that would have put a ban in place effective April 15.
