Investigators are looking for a vehicle believed to be connected with one of three roadside shootings in northern Colorado, along with a previously unreported attempted shooting.
Authorities on Tuesday released a sketch of a faded orange pickup truck. They say it's linked to the June 3 killing of 65-year-old William Connole on a Loveland sidewalk, and an attempted shooting the same night about 2 miles away.
Police described the truck as a 1970s full-size, single-cab Chevrolet or GMC.
Larimer County sheriff's spokesman David Moore says the two Loveland cases are connected. But he says investigators so far have nothing to link them to two other nearby roadside shootings around the same time.
One of those shootings left bicyclist dead in Windsor. The other injured a woman driving on Interstate 25.
All of the shootings happened within about 15 miles of each other.
