WASHINGTON – Georgetown Law Center issued an alert Friday warning students and faculty that an armed person had been seen on campus and everyone should stay inside.
Officer Anthony Simpson of the center's public safety office said they had been told by Capitol Police that a person, believed to be a man, had been spotted with a rifle.
There was no immediate description of the reported gunman and no further details were available.
The alert was issued about 12:50pm local time.
