A suburban Chicago police officer suspected in a shooting spree in Illinois and Indiana that left one man dead and two other people wounded is scheduled to appear in court.
A court hearing for Lynwood police officer Brian Dorian is set for Tuesday afternoon in Joliet, Ill.
Dorian was arrested on a murder warrant last Friday at his home in Crete, Ill., and has been held since in the Will County Jail in lieu of $2.5 million bond.
The 37-year-old was arrested after a massive search in Illinois and Indiana for a disheveled gunman who had approached his victims and asked about honey bees or construction material before pulling a gun.
