A 73-year-old grandmother from Northern California has been convicted of murder in the shooting death of her third husband — three decades after being acquitted of killing her second husband.

The Sacramento Bee reports (http://bit.ly/1COudD6) a Placerville jury took less than two hours Wednesday to return a guilty verdict against Colleen Ann Harris.

Seventy-two-year-old Robert Harris was found dead from a shotgun blast at the couple's home in 2013.

Colleen Harris testified that she couldn't recall the events leading up to his death because of traumatic memory loss.

She could get 50 years to life when she is sentenced June 5.

Colleen Harris was charged in the 1985 shotgun killing of her then-husband, 46-year-old James Batten. Her attorney argued the killing was self-defense because of ongoing abuse, and jurors acquitted her.
