Boy run over by tractor at Michigan fair

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Authorities say a 7-year-old boy has been injured after being run over by a tractor at a fair in Northern Michigan.

Grand Traverse Sheriff's officials tell the Traverse City Record-Eagle that the boy was injured Wednesday morning at the Northwestern Michigan Fair.

The extent of his injuries and the circumstances surrounding the incident weren't immediately clear.

An investigation is ongoing.
