Boxer Jermain Taylor has surrendered to face the latest charge filed against him in Arkansas.
Pulaski County Sheriff's Capt. Carl Minden says Taylor surrendered Friday morning and was booked into the county jail on a second-degree battery charge.
Taylor is accused of hitting another resident at the rehabilitation center where he has been confined since he was charged with shooting his cousin and threatening a child with a gun.
A Pulaski County District judge issued an arrest warrant Thursday.
Taylor entered the treatment program in March after his arrest in January on charges of threatening a family and firing a gun during a parade in Little Rock. A judge in April reversed a ruling that allowed Taylor to leave the substance-abuse facility to attend church.
