Fire crews are working to put out a blaze that erupted after a home exploded in Pawtucket.
WJAR-TV reports that the explosion occurred on Mineral Spring Avenue just after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Photos taken at the scene show that large flames have engulfed the home's third floor and caused significant damage.
The station says there were initial reports of injuries but no details were available. It was unclear how many people, if any, were inside at the time of the explosion.
There was no immediate word on a cause.
