ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — An Alaska couple and their 2-year-old son are in critical condition, one day after their small plane crashed near downtown Anchorage, Alaska, killing another young son and seriously injuring a 16-year-old Texas girl.
Thirty-four-year-old Preston Cavner and his 32-year-old wife, Stacie Cavner, are being treated at the burn center of Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, Ore. Their son Hudson is being treated at Legacy Emmanuel's children's hospital.
The couple's 4-year-old son, Miles, died when the Cessna 206 crashed and burned in a busy business district during rush hour Tuesday.
The Cavners operate a lodge at Port Alsworth, Alaska, and the fourth survivor, Rachel Zientak of Texas, is one of their employees. Zientak is listed in serious condition in the burn center Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
