Thirteen people, including several children, were injured Saturday when an inflatable bounce house was swept up by strong winds on a Long Island soccer field.
The bounce houses became airborne with several children still inside them. They were sent flying a dozen feet across the field, then continued rolling upon landing, injuring more people.
Three bounce houses were set up as part of a carnival for a soccer tournament for the Oceanside United Soccer Club at Oceanside School No. 9.
Police say the injuries sustained were minor.
