    Hotel room stays can be the most expensive part of any vacation, and not all cities are created equal when it comes to accommodation pricing. The latest Budget Hotel Report released by CheapHotels.org breaks down the cheapest and most expensive places to stay over the weekend of May 30.  The figures show pricing for a hotel’s cheapest available double room and only look at accommodations in a city’s center or near its main attractions. For the most part, travelers looking to save money should stick to the Southeast or the West, and those looking to splurge can head to the Northeast.
