Heads up, deal hunters: The biggest day in retail is almost here, and the world's largest retailer just announced its plans for the event.
Walmart is giving customers the opportunity to shop the majority of its Black Friday 2016 deals early, online. The deals will go live on Walmart's website beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. Walmart's in-store sale kicks off at 6 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving Day.
The retailer's Black Friday circular is available now on the Walmart app, so check it out and get your game plan together. Walmart is also offering some early Black Friday deals exclusively through its app, starting today, giving you an added incentive to download.
On a conference call with reporters Wednesday, Walmart US Chief Merchandising Officer Steve Bratspies said the company has been working all year to secure enough merchandise for Black Friday.
To meet expected demand, Walmart has amassed more than 1.5 million televisions, nearly 2 million tablets and computers, and 3 million video games. Walmart will have deals on 11 televisions, 10 laptops and tablets, drones, connected home devices, fitness wearables, gaming merch, and more. Here's some of the top tech deals to watch out for:
