Samsung has done it again. Just when you thought they couldn't make the Galaxy Tab line any more appealing, they unveil the highly affordable $249 Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. The aggressive pricing signals Samsung making a actively targeting the Amazon Kindle Fire and the value market.
Aside from the wallet-friendly price tag, the Wi-Fi Tab 2 7.0 has some compelling features to make its case, most notably shipping with Android 4.0 (ICS). Similar to other products in the Galaxy line, the Android tablet will be skinned with Samsung TouchWiz. The Tab 2 7.0 will also give users a free year of Dropbox with 50 GB of online storage.
Other specs include a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 1024 x 600p display, a VGA front-facing camera, 3 megapixel rear camera and an infrared IR Blaster with accompanying Peel Smart Remote Software.
