A professional wrestler's mysterious death after a training exercise has baffled police in Philadelphia, according to CBS 3.

Matt "Riot" Lowry, who wrestled in the minor leagues, died of what police called severe head injuries after participating in training exercises at "The Arena" building in South Philadelphia, the station reported.

Lowry's trainer told CBS 3 that the 22-year-old Ohio native was not injured in the ring but instead suffered an aneurysm while he was warming up.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday to determine Lowry's cause of death.
