Two passenger trains collided in southern Poland on Monday afternoon, injuring three people, according to Polish media.
The trains, carrying a total of 20 people, collided in the mountain village of Swinna, Jaroslaw Wojtasik, spokesman for local firefighters, told Polish news agency PAP.
Two passengers and one train operator were hospitalized, Wojtasik said.
Reports indicated one train was partly derailed.
Earlier, local police spokesman Wieslaw Zon said on TVN24 television that preliminary reports indicated that four people were injured when the trains collided between the mountain towns of Zywiec and Sucha Beskidzka.
